Walden by Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862)

A real life true story about one man’s attempt to live the simple life in the wilderness.

Although Henry  published only two books in his lifetime, Walden is a literary masterpeice and one of the most significant books of the nineteenth century.

It became the founding text for the environmental movement and an  entire counter culture of non-consumers. ‘Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity.’
