Workplace Athletes is an on-site movement program that teaches employees the movement skills they need to know to prevent injury.
Is there a correct sequence and timing to lift and carry, crawl and roll, transition from the floor to a standing position or jump and land that makes these activities safer?
What about climbing in and out of a forklift or confined space or scaling a ladder or scaffold? Are there correct techniques for these activities too?
How about standing for long hours? Is there a preferred postural alignment that might prevent injury?
And, are there mobility exercises specific to my work that can improve function and prevent injury?
The answer to all of these questions is, “You bet!”
Despite the amount of movement or exercise we do on a daily basis few people know how to move well or move safely. That’s where we come in.
